Switzerland is one of the most picturesque countries: Stunning snowy peaks tower over turquoise lakes, cows are feeding on lush green meadows, and cute little Swiss towns invite you to stay for a lunch break with an alpine panorama. Can you think of a better place to elope?! We can’t! Additionally, there are many adventures waiting for you in Switzerland: Many lakes are perfect for water sports such as kitesurfing, SUPing, or diving. Of course, the Swiss alps are wonderful for any type of winter sports, hiking, climbing, you name it! And if you would like to jump out of a plane or do paragliding, you won’t forget about this incredible view! 

We discovered incredible parts by ourselves. Last autumn, we went to Grindelwald for a couple of days. It was perfect, the trees turned orange but the sun was still warm on our faces.

We explored beautiful areas around Grindelwald and went on breathtaking hikes. Not only did we explore many places by walking, we also took our cameras and did a little shoot. Switzerland has a stunning beauty to offer which often comes with other happy tourists that equally would like to explore those beautiful places. Therefore, we recommend wedding dates during the week if you prefer solitary natural beauty! 



Bernese Oberland 

Bernese Alps and is known for its breathtaking views, magnificent mountains, unspoiled nature, glistening lakes. The Jungfrau region, located within the Bernese Oberland, is particularly famous. It includes popular destinations like Interlaken, Grindelwald, and Lauterbrunnen. These towns serve as gateways to the majestic Jungfrau, Eiger, and Mönch mountains and offer numerous hiking trails, cable car rides, and adventure sports. Most places have cable cars which bring you right to the top! One interesting fact about this are is: The Schilthorn Piz Gloria, made famous by the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," offers panoramic views and a revolving restaurant.

The Matterhorn and the surrounding Alpine landscape provide breathtaking views and picturesque scenery. What’s special about it? It’s surrounded by 38 four-thousand-meter peaks. That means everywhere you go you’ll have a breathtaking view on top of it you’ll find serene valleys, and crystal-clear lakes. It’s a gem!

Located at the border to Italy, Tessin has a Mediterranean flair: With two amazing lakes close by, you can pick and choose which cute town would be your favorite. Lago Maggiore and Lago di Lugano are both wonderful elopement locations and the mountain panorama really seals the deal for us.
