On the road - What to do after you’ve eloped?

Did you decide to elope in a country that you always wanted to go to? Your elopement is only the starting point for future joint adventures. What happens when all the festivities are over? Once you have eloped, the real adventure can unfold. Imagine you are free to go wherever you want whenever you feel like it. Life is simple. It’s only you, your partner and the road. We want to inspire you to make the most of your trip by deeply connecting with the place! Oh, the freedom! You can change your direction every day and venture out to a new spot. Or you stay longer, simply because it feels right.

What comes after eloping?

This is your adventure! You have the unique opportunity to be in a beautiful place with time at hand. Once the celebration is over, why not explore and go on a journey? Renting a camper van is one of the best and most convenient options to get around. If a place catches your attention, you can set up your camp in no time and go on a stroll. No limitations.

Having your home on wheels with you at all times - the feeling of freedom and cosiness is hard to describe. Say bye to crowded hostels. Instead, you can enjoy the most remote places all by yourself. You don’t have to pay for expensive hostels, in most places you can stay for free, unnoticed by the people around you. Van life means liberation. Even during Corona, it is a great way to travel in Europe without risking your health or putting others at risk.

Dreams come true in a camper van

I made my dream come true in 2019: I travelled the east coast of Australia in a camper van. My inspiration came from a beautiful couple. Before I came to Oz, I met Lauren and Rollan in New Zealand. They amazed me with their beautiful self-made van. They put so much love and thought into building their rolling home - and into their beautiful connection. They just got married a few weeks earlier, so it was the perfect occasion to take some couple/ after wedding pictures of them.

The day was perfect! We parked at the beach and spent the afternoon together. Of course, we had to start with some shots in the van! We chose an intimate setting to portray their closeness both in the van and with each other. Then we moved onto the dunes and walked across the beach. The two of them were fully relaxed and felt really comfortable in front of the camera.

The scenery was breathtaking. While in the car, the sloping sun conjured a wonderful, soft light into the van and turned the couple photos into romantic snapshots frozen in time. At the beach, the dunes and the beach were bathed in a soft light which created a special atmosphere for the rest of the pictures. When it was time to hit the road again, we all kept these beautiful moments in our hearts.

Where does the road take you?

Are you ready for your very own next adventure? This is for the wanderers, the ones who seek the unknown and love to get lost in new places. A road trip is a celebration of life and freedom - and the best way to fully embrace a place and its beauty. We love sharing a small piece of your journey and getting inspired by your stories!
