There is something whimsical about them. I found this beautiful one while travelling the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. You can find many similar ones to Kare Kare. However, this one had taken my heart in a storm. Big waves contrasting the beautiful black beach and a wonderful soft light in the evenings.
I met there with John and Nicole. Nicole is a wedding photographer herself and a very good one. So damn, I was pretty nervous to take pictures of such a stunning colleague. She brought her wedding dress and we did a trash-the-dress-kinda-thing. (If you don’t know what this is: Some couples decide to trash the wedding dress after their wedding in a cool shooting, some include mud, saltwater or even colours and paint!) My absolute dream came true: A stunning wedding dress, rolling waves and an amazing couple. I couldn’t stop taking pictures, seriously. Until the last ray of sunlight, I kept taking pictures of these cuties.
